Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern registration and participation in Motown Glowdown tournaments (hockey, box lacrosse, and pickleball) in Morgantown, WV. By registering a team, you agree to the terms below.

Registration & Payment

Team registration requires payment in full at the time of registration through our secure payment processor, Stripe. Registration is not considered complete until payment is received.

Refund Policy

All registrations are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason once payment has been submitted, including but not limited to team withdrawal, player unavailability, or event schedule changes.

Division Eligibility

Teams must register for the correct division (Youth, Middle School, High School, Girls, or Open) based on player age, grade, and/or gender as applicable to that division. We reserve the right to request proof of age or grade eligibility (such as a birth certificate, school ID, or report card) for any player prior to or during the event. Teams found to be in violation of division eligibility requirements may be disqualified without refund.

Roster & Waiver Requirements

Following registration, teams must submit a complete roster and ensure that every player (or their parent/guardian, for minor participants) completes an electronic liability waiver prior to the event. Players without a completed waiver on file will not be permitted to participate.

Assumption of Risk

Participation in Motown Glowdown tournaments involves inherent risks associated with athletic competition, including the risk of injury. By registering, teams and participants acknowledge and accept these risks. Motown Glowdown, its organizers, sponsors, and the host venue are not liable for injuries sustained during participation, except as provided by law.

Schedule & Format Changes

Tournament schedules, formats, and venues are subject to change. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered teams of any significant changes as soon as possible.

Code of Conduct

All players, coaches, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. Motown Glowdown reserves the right to remove any individual or team from the event for unsafe or unsportsmanlike conduct, without refund.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia.
